Larisha Y. Warner is a native of Prince George’s County suburb outside of Washington, DC. Larisha is a true example and witness of her favorite biblical scripture Romans 8:28. In October 2012, she fully received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her life journey has endured countless hurdles and trials including childhood sexual abuse/molestation yet she still remains optimistic and has always credited God for leading and seeing her through it all. Larisha has boldly and truthfully shared her life journey, challenges, and relationship with God to inspire and encourage individuals at various open mics, church anniversaries, prayer breakfasts, and conferences across the Washington, DC area for the past eight years. She has a heart for serving women and wants to see all women (her sisters) become who God has created them to be. She is a member of The House of Healing DMV, located in Capitol Heights, MD under the leadership of Pastors Joseph and La-Quisha Brown.
Larisha holds degrees and professional certificates in African-American Studies/Public Policy, Business Management/Marketing, and Project Management from the University of Maryland-College Park, University of Maryland-University College, and George Washington University. As Larisha continues on her Christian journey, she is grateful that God has allowed her the opportunity to encourage the masses while drawing others closer to Him. These days she is focusing on continuing her journey to freedom, healing, and wholeness and looks forward to seeing how God will use this season of her life for His glory!
